You are interested in joining us?

Currently we are actively seeking for tenors and basses.

If you are an alto or a soprano, we ask that you audition with the director.

The auditions take place twice a year.

Following the audition, you will hear from us and we will invite you to our next rehearsal if appropriate. This process helps us maintain an ambitious and committed choral community.

In any case and independently from being bass, tenor, alto or soprano, if you are interested in joining us please email to:

leipziginternationalchoir@yahoo.com

and we will get back to you with further information.

For further details please look on our “Contact” page.

Choir Life

In 2019, we set off for our first choir weekend at the Bad Lausick Youth Hostel, and we enjoyed the collaborative rehearsal weekend so much that we definitely wanted to do it again. This has since developed into a wonderful tradition that we now continue annually at the Colditz Castle Youth Hostel.

The castle building also houses the Saxon State Music Academy, which provides us with the ideal setting for our rehearsals.

From Friday to Sunday, we rehearse, sing—and celebrate!

During breaks, meals, and in the evenings, we have plenty of time to get to know each other better—something we often don’t have much time for during our weekly rehearsals (because, despite all the fun, we do take our rehearsals very seriously!).

The choir trips for the coming years are already booked—the weekend after the Saxon winter break is reserved for the choir.
